Can you clean a buckwheat pillow?
Whole buckwheat pillows cannot be put into the washing machine, but you can wash the cotton fabric pillow. See how to do it here.
What shape pillow is right for me?
We make our buckwheat pillows in three shapes: cylindrical, rectangular and curved. All our pillows can be adjusted and customized to your unique body, but there are a few distinguishing features that may make one shape preferable over the other to help you get a good nights sleep.
ComfySleep pillows are good for those who sleep on their back or side, and those who shift position when they sleep. Read more about ComfySleep pillows here.
ComfyNeck pillows are more compact than our rectangular pillows. They are good for those who do not shift position in their sleep, especially side sleepers with broad shoulders.
ComfyCurve Pillows are good for combination sleepers. The curve makes it easier for you to wrap the pillow around your head, neck and shoulders for more supportive sleep. It also makes it easier to change positions while sleeping. If you roll from your back to your side the pillow is right where you want it.
Is the buckwheat organic?
Our pillows are filled with buckwheat hulls that are grown in the mid-west by a cooperative of farmers. It is not organically certified, but that does not mean it was grown with lots of chemical inputs. Buckwheat is a crop that does not have many insect pest problems, and it naturally outcompetes weeds. Therefore, it is a crop that doesn't require pesticides and herbicides.
Where do you ship and how long will it take?
We ship throughout the US. Our pillows are stored and shipped from regional warehouses allowing us to offer low shipping rates and the fastest delivery times possible. Pillows shipped via standard shipping should arrive within 3-5 business days.
We mail international orders directly from our workshop. Shipping costs for one pillow anywhere outside of the US is $90. Shipping rates for two or more pillows are based on weight and distance. What is your return policy?
We strive to give you quality handmade pillows. If you are unsatisfied in any way with your pillow, contact us and we will work to fix it. We are happy to offer refunds on your order within 30 days of purchase. Shipping charges for returned orders are the responsibility of the purchaser. I'm having trouble using your site. What should I do?
First, try deleting your cookies and browser data. Usually this solves most problems. If you’re using an outdated version of your internet browser try upgrading, or using a different browser altogether.
