The Beauty of Buckwheat Plants
We have grown buckwheat in our home garden as a cover crop and to attract beneficial pollinators for many years. Every time I see them I'm amazed that they are the start of our buckwheat pillows.
Each tiny flower will become one buckwheat hull. It takes thousands of hulls to fill up a pillow.
