Can you clean a buckwheat pillow?

Whole buckwheat pillows cannot be put into the washing machine, but you can wash the cotton fabric pillow. See how to do it here.

What shape pillow is right for me?

We make our buckwheat pillows in two shapes: cylindrical and rectangular. All our pillows can be adjusted and customized to your unique body, but there are a few distinguishing features that may make one shape preferable over the other to help you get a good nights sleep.

ComfySleep pillows are good for those who sleep on their back or side, and those who do not shift position when they sleep. Read more about ComfySleep pillows here.

ComfyNeck pillows are more compact than our rectangular pillows, so the buckwheat is less prone to shifting in the night. They are good for those who shift position in their sleep, side sleepers with broad shoulders and taking with you when you travel.

Is the buckwheat organic?

Our pillows are filled with buckwheat hulls that are grown in the mid-west by a cooperative of farmers. It is not organically certified, but that does not mean it was grown with lots of chemical inputs. Buckwheat is a crop that does not have many insect pest problems, and it naturally outcompetes weeds. Therefore, it is a crop that doesn't require pesticides and herbicides.


How long will it take my order to ship?

Our pillows are stored and shipped from regional warehouses allowing us to offer low shipping rates and the fastest delivery times possible. Pillows shipped via standard shipping should arrive within 3-5 business days. Need a pillow faster? Two-day shipping is $10 per item ordered.

We ship throughout the US.

We mail international orders directly from our workshop. Shipping costs for one pillow anywhere outside of the US is $80. Shipping rates for two or more pillows  are based on weight and distance. If you would like to order a pillow internationally please email
